New logo for PS 95 Waterfront Elementary School Music Department
The logo is based on the combination of the school’s name with elements from music to create an icon that would be instantly recognizable as their music department identity. Inspired by the natural flow of the G-clef, a wave forming in the center of the symbol lent itself perfectly. The 2 shades of blue picked from the school’s color palette tie in nicely with the water theme. And choosing a sans serif font with rounded corners add a level of playfulness that connects well with young children.
